How to Reschedule, Cancel, or Delete an Event

  • Updated

Reschedule, Cancel, or Delete?

If you are unable to hold your event at the scheduled time, or no longer need it in your account, you have the options to reschedule, cancel, or delete.

When you reschedule an event, tickets will automatically be transferred over to the new event day and ticket holders will automatically be notified of the date change.

The difference between cancelling an event and deleting it is determined by whether you have ticket sales or not.

You can cancel an event with existing ticket sales or delete an event with no ticket sales. When an event is cancelled, you have the option for GoFan to automatically send out emails notifying ticket holders of the cancellation. Ticket refunds will be processed automatically in 1-2 business days.

You can delete an event that does not have any ticket sales and remove it completely from your account.

How to Reschedule an Event

To reschedule an event, go to the Events page from your PlayOn HQ Dashboard.

HQ Dashboard > Events

Navigate to the three-dot button on the right-hand side of your events. You will see the option to Reschedule event.

If you do not see the three-dot button, you may need to scroll to the right or zoom in or adjust your browser's size.

You will see your current ticket sales, if any, and can chose to send an email notification to any existing ticket holders about the reschedule.

Select your new event start date and end date and start time and end time, if applicable.
