Schools that publish an event via the event monitor on HQ using event data from Arbiter, rSchoolToday, and VNN Sports will now be able to keep that event up to date on GoFan via new updates flow on the event monitor. Like publishing an event, a school can easily see which event(s) have been changed and what specifically has been updated to ensure that their events have the correct information on GoFan.
- When logging into HQ, you will notice a new clickable icon on the left-hand column called your event monitor.
- If you do not see this on the dashboard, it is because your school does not use an event monitor, so there is no event information to pull.
While viewing their GoFan HQ Event Monitor, schools will be able to see which seasons have been updated in the event monitor and will have the option to Modify. You will also have the option to ignore and Publish specific event updates as well.
After the event monitor is updated, it will appear on the event monitor similar to this:
Once the season has been published, you will still have the option to make edits to the season if necessary.
Also, when you click Publish or Publish all seasons, you will now see additional settings that will allow you to toggle on Hide all events for this season on the school's GoFan page, or you can add an Event Alert to your events in that season.
These settings will be applied to all events in the season.
