There are two paths to create a season of events. The first is from the dashboard under the Quick Start menu, click Create a season. You can also view Seasons from the left-hand side on your main GoFan Dashboard. From here, you can click on Add Season.
Note: Reserved seating seasons will need to be created by the GoFan team.
Manual Season Ticket Package Creation
Select the type of season and Sport. For now, this is only available for Athletic seasons of events. Then click Continue.
Choose who will be the Host school and the school's GoFan account that will get paid.
Lastly, choose I’ll create the seasons individually, by manual input or by file upload. Then Continue.
Click Manual input and select the number of games in the season.
Under Participating teams, you can choose the Gender and Sport Level.
Choose the Event Start Time. This can be applied to the majority of the games. If there are some that start at different times, you can edit them in Edit Mode.
Set the Visibility for your season. You can choose to hide your season and games if you wish until you're ready to make them public. You can also set the season to be visible automatically on a specific date and time.
Type in an Event alert to announce important information. This is optional and can be left blank.
Choose from an existing Sport Venue or click Set up Venue to create a new one.
Enter a GL Code if applicable.
Create a Ticket Type. You may have already set up Default Ticket Types from your Accounts page.
Besides the ticket type, click Create a Season Ticket Package.
Give the Season Ticket Package a Name. Assign the ticket color if you would like. Set a Season Ticket Price. Then click Save and close when you have finished creating your season Ticket Packages.
Select an Event entrance option for your tickets.
You can also create a Season Ticket Packages from your GoFan Seasons Page. You would click on Create season ticket package from the chosen Season.
On the next screen, add Your Opponent by searching for the school. Check the logos, city, state, and zip code to make sure it's the right opponent. Manipulate the Event Date and Start Time for each event. You can add another event by clicking Add Events or delete them by clicking on the X next to the event you want to delete. Click on Publish Season when finished.
View Season and Update if Needed
After you publish your season, you can edit it on the season or by individual events. From the Dashboard, click on View Season.
You can edit a specific game within the season by clicking on the opponent. Or you can edit the Season-level settings by clicking on the Season-level settings. When you apply changes to the season level, they will apply to all games within the season.
Here you can update the Ticket Availability and Ticket Price, add a Ticket Type, edit the Event type, Event Name, Event Date and time, Venue info, Event Visibility, Gate Opening Time, and Buyer Purchase Limit on a game-by-game basis. You can also collect additional information from your purchasers. Be sure to Update by clicking the button on the bottom right to save the changes.
